The deceitfulness of the lawless one
We
must protect our church and it’s people!
We
must pray for a shield of armor of protection!
We
must rebuke the enemy for he attacks and intercede in the most subtle of ways.
He
creeps in like a slithering snake.
The
enemy works on us in the most subtle of ways, many times we’re not even aware of
it. When doubt, worry, dislike, pride creep in- he is the reason.

_________
The
Word, the Bible, the Greatest Book ever written is our operators, instruction,
reference, and technical manual for life here on earth. The Word is about good
rules to guide us and keep us tuned up.
We
need discipline for learning, just as a loving parent disciplines a child the
Lord loves and disciplines us.
How
blessed are we to have Jesus?
If
we don’t practice righteousness we are on thin ice.
We
must love our fellow man.
Matthew
26;41
“Keep
watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is
willing, but the flesh is weak.”
We are where we are today with Jesus because of love and prayers from our parents, grandparents, relatives, siblings, and friends who have prayed for us over the years.
In
these days of up-evil and turmoil the enemy is mad and knows his time is short
so he's insidious and relentless with his attacks on us, he wants to deceive,
convince, and convert us to his downtrodden way which is the opposite of Gods
righteous and loving Word.
If
we don’t practice righteousness and love our fellow man we are not of God.
1
John 3;10
By
this the children of God and the children of the devil are revealed: Everyone
who does not practice righteousness—the one who does not love his fellow man—is
not of God.
At
times in this current day and age we are in a spiritual warfare. We must
not turn our heads, we cannot wear blinders, we must face reality.
A
spiritual warfare continues by forces of the evil one.
We
cannot sweep this under a rug, it’s reality.
If
we state; “I don’t want to hear about it” or “I don’t believe it” we are doing
exactly what the enemy desires.
We
must have a shield of armor of protection with faith to extinguish all flaming
arrows from the evil one. We must wear a bulletproof vest of Jesus armor.
John
10;10
10 The
thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life,
and have it abundantly.
It’s
imperative that we are in a group with other Christians learning the Word on a
weekly basis for strength. It’s virtually impossible for a Christian man to
survive as a Christian alone in this day and age, there are to many temptations
in the world.
We
men need strength from each other.
As
the Word states, we must encourage, confess, and be accountable to each other.
We
must have unity with each other and be guided by the Holy Spirit and a love for
Jesus and others.
As
Christians we are in a spiritual battle, sometimes its so subtle we don’t even
realize it.
If
we are Pastors, teachers, or writers, we must be extremely cautious, it's even
more so because the enemy knows if he can get us off track it will effect the
masses.
It's
imperative that we are "Children of God".
We
must fight off the weapons of the destructive one.
The
enemy is about temptations and confusions that are extremely subtle and smooth.
The
variables of subtle negative complexity is staggering.
Whatever
the enemy can do to destroy he will, the Bible tells us he is the lawless one.
We
must not doubt, we must not think of doubt. We must rebuke the enemy when we
doubt.
We
must not drift away, we must not backslide.
The
evil one detests Christians and Christianity and will do anything to attack
individuals and the masses.
Jesus Christ is the Righteous One.
I hear this periodically; "don't give the enemy more credit then he deserves".
The
enemy deserves more credit then we think he does.
2
Corinthians 11;3-4
3 But I am afraid that just as
the serpent deceived Eve by his treachery, your minds may be led astray from
a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes
and proclaims another Jesus different from the one we proclaimed, or if you
receive a different spirit than the one you received, or a different gospel
than the one you accepted, you put up with it well enough!
There
will be false prophets and false teachers among us.
The
evil one disguises himself as an angel of light.
2
Corinthians 11;13-15
13
For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as
apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an
angel of light. 15 Therefore it is not surprising his servants also
disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to
their actions.
The lawless one creates fog twists our thinking in the most subtle of ways without us realizing it. He plants weeds and desires to de-tune us so we can rust, his goal is to cloud our judgement. He'll do anything to create doubt, fear, and worry.
The
enemy wants us to set a bad examples as Christians; possessing pride, judging
others, disliking or hating someone, unforgiving, and having doubt; all things
the Lord detests.
We
need the Lords protection, wisdom, and guidance from the Holy Spirit.
That's
why it's imperative that we pray before we listen to a sermon or study the
Bible, we must ask for guidance and wisdom from the Holy Spirit. In addition,
we must rebuke the enemy ask the Lord for a shield of armor of protection to
fight off the enemy.®
2 Thessalonians 2;9
The
arrival of the lawless one will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of
miracles and signs and false wonders.
We live in this modern day world of distractions with doubt and worry including terminologies such as liberalism, secularism, modernism, universalism, post modernism, women's movement, and political correctness which are all tools of the enemy!
News
media's and non Christians focus on and select certain false Christians as an
example of Christianity to defy Christianity.
For
example; some so called Christians place themselves above others and judge
others, that has nothing to do with Christianity!
They
give Christianity a bad name, which is exactly what the enemy loves, it is the
work of the evil one, it has nothing to do with humility and love; two of the
key words in the Bible.
1 Peter 5;8
Be
sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl
looking for someone to devour.
The
enemy works overtime on Christians because he knows the end is near. He works
double time on Pastors, and teachers because if he twists their thought
processes it will reach the masses.
2
Timothy 4;1-8
“Preach
the Word”
4 I solemnly charge you
in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the
dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach the word; be
ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. 3 For the time will come when
they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears
tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their
own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and
will turn aside to myths. 5 But you, be sober in all things, endure
hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
6 For I am already being poured
out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I
have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in
the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord,
the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also
to all who have loved His appearing.
Hebrews 3;12-19
The Peril of Unbelief
12 Take care, brethren, that
there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from
the living God. 13 But encourage one another day after day, as long
as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by
the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of
Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end, 15 while
it is said,
“Today
if you hear His voice,
Do
not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.”
16 For who provoked Him
when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led
by Moses? 17 And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not
with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? 18 And
to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were
disobedient? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter
because of unbelief.
The
False Teachers’ Ungodly Lifestyle
Peter
2;1-10
1
But false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers
among you. These false teachers will infiltrate your midst with destructive
heresies, even to the point of denying the Master who bought them. As a result,
they will bring swift destruction on themselves. 2 And many will follow
their debauched lifestyles. Because of these false teachers, the way of
truth will be slandered. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with
deceptive words. Their condemnation pronounced long ago is not sitting idly by;
their destruction is not asleep.
4
For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but threw them into hell and
locked them up in chains in utter darkness, to be kept until the judgment, 5
and if he did not spare the ancient world, but did protect Noah, a herald of
righteousness, along with seven others, when God brought a flood on an ungodly
world, 6 and if he turned to ashes the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah when he
condemned them to destruction, having appointed them to serve as an example to
future generations of the ungodly, 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man in
anguish over the debauched lifestyle of lawless men/women, 8 (for while he
lived among them day after day, that righteous man was tormented in his
righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard) 9 —if so, then the Lord
knows how to rescue the godly from their trials, and to reserve the unrighteous
for punishment at the day of judgment, 10 especially those who indulge their
fleshly desires and who despise authority.
Exodus 15;9
“The
enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire
shall be gratified against them; I will draw out my sword, my hand will destroy
them.’
As Christians, Pastors, teachers, prayer groups, bible study groups, prayer warriors, and chaplains we must stay tuned up with the Lord constantly and consistently. We must not rust®
How
do we do that? When we doubt and are confused it's imperative that we;
- Pray for a shield of armor of protection daily and ask for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit only.
- Rebuke and resisting the enemy.
- We must strive the righteous way.
- We must fight off doubt, worry, and pride, some of the enemy's favorite tools.
- Face up to reality, there are spiritual forces of evil around us.
- Be baptized with the Holy Spirit and the confirmation of speaking in tongues.
- Encourage each other, confess to each other, pray for each other, and love each other.
- Focus on righteousness and sanctification daily.
Hebrews 2;1
Warning
Against Drifting Away
1
Therefore we must pay closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not
drift away.
If
we aren't on our toes and tuned-up we can easily be placed in a fog by the
enemy.
How
do we stay tuned up?
By
resisting and rebuking the enemy and by constantly asking for guidance and
wisdom from the Holy Spirit.
The enemy attempts to dilute our sight and hearing.
At
times we are in a great spiritual battle.
How
does the ternary and destruction happen?
In
this day and age of technology it’s easy to have on our smart phone and tablets
every version of the Bible and commentaries. With all the hundreds of different
versions of the bible, various commentaries, pastor/instructors teachings, and
scholarly writings it's no wonder we get confused. These overwhelming variables
cause stress and doubt and the enemy loves that.
Doubt, worry, stress, pessimism and confusion are key word of the enemy, they are cancer to our thought process.
Just as there are people of God there are people of the enemy.
The
enemy and his evil spirits subtly create demonic devastation, he is constantly
at our door.
The enemy's tongue is full of poison. He will twist our thought process if we let him.
We
must never say; "I am tempted by God", He does not tempt us!
James
1;13
Let
no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be
tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
We must be guided with wisdom from the Holy Spirit ONLY and follow and learn from the Word. We must not lean on our own or another man’s understanding.
John 3;20-21
20
For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the
light, so that their deeds will not be exposed. 21 But the one who practices
the truth comes to the light, so that it may be plainly evident that his deeds
have been done in God.
We must not lean on our own understanding, ego, or another man's ideals, theory's and understanding.
The
Bible itself is the best commentary, the key to understanding the scriptures
correctly is asking the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and guidance in prayer
each time we study it.
The Lord detests pride and ego. The Lord loves humility.
The
Lord detests judging of others, we have no right, we must be blameless, only
The Lord has the the right to judge others. We must not point our finger at
another, we must only point a finger at ourselves.
We must stay tuned up with Jesus, we must not rust.
We
must love our fellow man, not just our selective neighbors.
Our
glass must be half full, we must look for the good in a person, not the bad.
None of us are perfect.
As a Christian we must set a good example, not only is the Lord watching us, others are watching us.
We
must never think we are tempted by God, temptation comes from the evil one.

of God so that you can take your stand against the devil. For our struggle is
not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms.” This text teaches some crucial truths: we can only
stand strong in the Lord’s power, it is God’s armor that protects us, and our
battle is ultimately against spiritual forces of evil in the world.
Ephesians 6;10-18
Exhortations
for Spiritual Warfare
10
Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power. 11
Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand
against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of
this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. 13 For this
reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your
ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm
therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the
breastplate of righteousness, 15 by fitting your feet with the preparation that
comes from the good news of peace, 16 and in all of this, by taking up the
shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the
evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God. 18 With every prayer and petition, pray at all times
in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for
all the saints.
Psalm
37
1
Do
not fret when wicked men seem to succeed!
Do
not envy evildoers!
2
For
they will quickly dry up like grass,
and
wither away like plants.
3
Trust
in the Lord and do what is right!
Settle
in the land and maintain your integrity!
4
Then
you will take delight in the Lord,
and
he will answer your prayers.
5
Commit
your future to the Lord!
Trust
in him, and he will act on your behalf.
6
He
will vindicate you in broad daylight,
and
publicly defend your just cause.
7
Wait
patiently for the Lord!
Wait
confidently for him!
Do
not fret over the apparent success of a sinner,
a
man who carries out wicked schemes!
8
Do
not be angry and frustrated!
Do
not fret! That only leads to trouble!
9
Wicked
men will be wiped out,
but
those who rely on the Lord are the ones who will possess the land.
10
Evil
men will soon disappear;
you
will stare at the spot where they once were, but they will be gone.
11
But
the oppressed will possess the land
and
enjoy great prosperity.
12
Evil
men plot against the godly
and
viciously attack them.
13
The
Lord laughs in disgust at them,
for
he knows that their day is coming.
14
Evil
men draw their swords
and
prepare their bows,
to
bring down the oppressed and needy,
and
to slaughter those who are godly.
15
Their
swords will pierce their own hearts,
and
their bows will be broken.
16
The
little bit that a godly man owns is better than
the
wealth of many evil men,
17
for
evil men will lose their power,
but
the Lord sustains the godly.
18
The
Lord watches over the innocent day by day
and
they possess a permanent inheritance.
19
They
will not be ashamed when hard times come;
when
famine comes they will have enough to eat.
20
But
evil men will die;
the
Lord’s enemies will be incinerated—
they
will go up in smoke.
21
Evil
men borrow, but do not repay their debt,
but
the godly show compassion and are generous.
22
Surely
those favored by the Lord will possess the land,
but
those rejected by him will be wiped out.
23
The
Lord grants success to the one
whose
behavior he finds commendable.
24
Even
if he trips, he will not fall headlong,
for
the Lord holds his hand.
25
I
was once young, now I am old.
I
have never seen a godly man abandoned,
or
his children forced to search for food.
26
All
day long he shows compassion and lends to others,
and
his children are blessed.
27
Turn
away from evil! Do what is right!
Then
you will enjoy lasting security.
28
For
the Lord promotes justice,
and
never abandons his faithful followers.
They
are permanently secure,
but
the children of evil men are wiped out.
29
The
godly will possess the land
and
will dwell in it permanently.
30
The
godly speak wise words
and
promote justice.
31
The
law of their God controls their thinking;
their
feet do not slip.
32
Evil
men set an ambush for the godly
and
try to kill them.
33
But
the Lord does not surrender the godly,
or
allow them to be condemned in a court of law.
34
Rely
on the Lord! Obey his commands!
Then
he will permit you to possess the land;
you
will see the demise of evil men.
35
I
have seen ruthless evil men
growing
in influence, like a green tree grows in its native soil.
36
But
then one passes by, and suddenly they have disappeared!
I
looked for them, but they could not be found.
37
Take
note of the one who has integrity! Observe the godly!
For
the one who promotes peace has a future.
38
Sinful
rebels are totally destroyed;
evil
men have no future.
39
But
the Lord delivers the godly;
he
protects them in times of trouble.
40
The
Lord helps them and rescues them;
he
rescues them from evil men and delivers them,
for
they seek his protection.
_________
Keeping Gods Commandments.
Words
of Assurance.
Warning
about false teachers.
Children
of God.
1
John 2
1
(My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.)
But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous One, 2 and he himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not
only for our sins but also for the whole world.
Keeping
God’s Commandments
3
Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep his commandments.
4 The one who says “I have come to know God” and yet does not keep his
commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in such a person. 5 But whoever
obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has been perfected. By
this we know that we are in him. 6 The one who says he resides in God ought
himself to walk just as Jesus walked.
7
Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment
which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you
have already heard. 8 On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you
which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the
true light is already shining. 9 The one who says he is in the light but still
hates his fellow Christian is still in the darkness. 10 The one who loves his
fellow Christian resides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in
him. 11 But the one who hates his fellow Christian is in the darkness, walks in
the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has
blinded his eyes.
Words
of Reassurance
12
I am writing to you, little children, that your sins have been forgiven because
of his name. 13 I am writing to you, fathers, that you have known him who has
been from the beginning. I am writing to you, young people, that you have
conquered the evil one. 14 I have written to you, children, that you have known
the Father. I have written to you, fathers, that you have known him who has
been from the beginning. I have written to you, young people, that you are
strong, and the word of God resides in you, and you have conquered the evil
one.
15
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world,
the love of the Father is not in him, 16 because all that is in the world (the
desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by
material possessions) is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 And the
world is passing away with all its desires, but the person who does the will of
God remains forever.
Warning
About False Teachers
18
Children, it is the last hour, and just as you heard that the anti-Christ is
coming, so now many anti-Christ have appeared. We know from this that it is the
last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us,
because if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. But they
went out from us to demonstrate that all of them do not belong to us.
20
Nevertheless you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. 21 I
have not written to you that you do not know the truth, but that you do know
it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar but the person who
denies that Jesus is the Christ? This one is the Antichrist: the person who
denies the Father and the Son. 23 Everyone who denies the Son does not have the
Father either. The person who confesses the Son has the Father also.
24
As for you, what you have heard from the beginning must remain in you. If what
you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son
and in the Father. 25 Now this is the promise that he himself made to us:
eternal life. 26 These things I have written to you about those who are trying
to deceive you.
27
Now as for you, the anointing that you received from him resides in you, and
you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you
about all things, it is true and is not a lie. Just as it has taught you, you
reside in him.

And now, little children, remain in him, so that when he appears we may have
confidence and not shrink away from him in shame when he comes back. 29 If you
know that he is righteous, you also know that everyone who practises
righteousness has been fathered by him.
