What is desire?
Thirst,
craving, lust, wanting.
We
go through life desiring more trying to quench our thirst
Insatiable
incapable
of being satisfied ,
quenchless
had
an insatiable desire for wealth
There
is evil desire and there is good desire.
As
Christians we must possess a desire and thirst for Jesus and righteousness.
The
only thing that permanently quenches
Our
thirst.

I
have asked the Lord for one thing— this is what I desire! I want
to live in the Lord’s house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the
splendor of the Lord and contemplate in his temple.
We
are to have a desire and thirst to serve others for Jesus.
