Peace

What is peace?

If we are peacemakers we will be called the sons of God.

If God is pleased with us he will bring peace.

Dictionary - Peace

state of tranquility or quiet; such as freedom from civil disturbance.

Peace and order were finally restored in the town. 
a state of security or order within a community provided for by law or custom a breach of the peace.

freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions.

Philippians 4;7

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5;23

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1;3

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15;13

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

(Christianity will divide families. Turmoil in families will arise between those who do and those who do not have Jesus in in their hearts. One of the costs of a Christian is the potential for the alienation of others in a family.)
