Grace

What is grace?

Grace is God giving the greatest treasure to the least deserving—which is every one of us.

Grace is a fantastic gift from God!

Grace is the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.

Grace is God choosing to bless us rather than curse us as our sin deserves. It is His benevolence to the undeserving.

The freely given, unmerited favor and love of God.
The influence or spirit of God operating in humans to regenerate or strengthen them.

The main idea of grace is divine means of help or strength, given through the bounteous mercy and love of Jesus Christ.


Grace cannot suffice without total effort on the part of the recipient.
It is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.

It is truly the grace of Jesus Christ that makes salvation possible. This principle is expressed in Jesus’ parable of the vine and the branches.

God is the instigator of grace, and it is from Him that all other grace flows.

Acts 20;32
And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.


Ephesians 2;8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Psalms 45;2
You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever.

Psalm 84;11
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Proverbs 1;9
Indeed, they are a graceful wreath to your head And ornaments about your neck.

Zechariah 12;10
