Man’s
logic and rationalization,
Illogical
logic, egos.
The
issue with us men and our flesh is we want an answer as quick as possible, we
use our logic and reasoning with everything, we are in a hurry, we think we can
solve and understand anything! (The Lord gave us our limited reasoning, his
reasoning is unlimited.)
When
it comes to interpreting scriptures we don’t take the time to ask the Lord for
wisdom and guidance, we think we can figure it out on our own.
It’s about ego and pride.
If
we do ask for quick wisdom and guidance from something or someone we turn to
other men’s understanding in books or on the Internet, this is not
trusting in the Lord, it’s a deterrent! It’s what the enemy wants us to
do!
We
must always remember the entire Bible was not written by man. The scriptures
were written by men guided by the Holy Spirit, therefore God wrote the Bible.
The
Lord does not want us to lean on our own understanding and rationalization or
someone else’s when it comes to interpreting the scriptures, we must always
pray and ask the Lord to give us wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit each
and every time.
We
are to love our God the Lord with all our heart, mind, strength, and soul, what
does this mean? It’s about trust and faith completely!
If
we have complete faith and trust in the Lord does He has faith and trust in us?
Man’s
reasoning can lead to doubt.
If
we doubt what happens?

if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all
generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him. 6 But he
must ask in faith without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of
the sea, blown and tossed around by the wind. 7 For that person must not
suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, 8 since he is a
double-minded individual, unstable in all his ways.
