Happiness of Life
What
makes us happy and content?
Is
life all about success, happiness, security, and fulfillment?
Is
there anything in worldly life that is long term?
The
Lord gave us eyes so we can see,
The
Lord gave us ears so we can hear,
the
Lord gave us thoughts so we can think,
what
does he want us to do with these senses?
Does
the Lord want us to have a good time in our life?
Of
course, he’s a living God
Does
he want us to be an expert in some field?
Are
we here on this earth have a good time and laugh and party with friends and
family?
Are
we here on this earth to spend all spare time with sports, hobbies, partying,
TV, movies, out to dinner, a new car?
Are
we here on earth to have many friends?
Is
that what life is about?
If
we are successful and wealthy is that what life is all about? Does that make us
content and happy?
Is
there anything The Lord wants us to do?
Is
it possible we're on this earth to serve Him and others?
Is
life all about me or helping others?
What
does the Bible say about our short life here on earth? It’s only a vapor.
Is
it possible Jesus must be our number one priority in our life and all these other
things are ok as long as they are secondary and not idolized?

family, success, the love of money, security, beautiful home, new car, hobbies,
sports, education, wealth, and good health.....

is only one thing in this world that is long term happiness and security, and we
can take with us when we leave this world.

we driven by the world or God?
Is
the world our master or is Jesus our master?
We
cannot serve two masters.
Are
we standing on firm ground or are we on thin ice?
Are
we traveling down a narrow firm road or are we traveling down a wide bumpy
unstable road driven by luck?
How
important are we?
Does
God want us to be proud or humble?
We
are just one minute grain of sand on a vast 100 mile beach, get over it.
Is
our health and security with insurance or Jesus?
Do
we think we’ve got Life all figured out with our pride and reasoning or do we
have humble wisdom and guidance from the Lord?
Do
we fully see and hear or are we partially blind and deaf?
Do
we have faith and hope in Jesus or do we doubt and live on luck?
Is
our mind clear with Jesus or do we wander in the fog of life?
Do
we see the light or is our life in the dark?
Are
we strong and confident with Jesus or are we weak and sluggish?
Do
we worry a lot or do we have faith and trust in God?
Do
we shine for Jesus or are we rusting?
When
there’s a tragedy or we suffer do we depend on alcohol or luck or do we turn to
Jesus?
Do
we think we have all the protection and security we need with insurance
companies and banks or do we have a shield of armor of protection from Jesus?
If
Jesus is so fantastic why aren’t we telling everyone about Him?
Are
we stagnated and just getting by in life?
Do
we believe once saved always saved and we can do anything and still enter the
Kingdom of Heaven?
Do
we fear men of the world or Do we fear God?
Do
we walk around blindly and deaf?
Are
we live with a false sense of security?
Do
we judge or are we blameless?
Do
we think that by becoming a Christian all we have to do is be nice to others
and believe in God?
How
much time in a week do we spend praying and studying the Bible?
How
much time in a week do we spend watching TV?
How
much time in a week do we spend with hobbies and friends?
How
much time in a week do we serve others and Jesus?
How
much time a week do focus on our righteousness?
Do
we forgive others who did us wrong?
Are
we proud or humble?
Do
we get bored or depressed easily?
Is
our glass half full, half empty, or always full?
Are
we an optimist or pessimist?
Is
it easier to find fault with others or find the good in others?
What
would Jesus do?
Do
we love others like the scriptures tell us or do we pick and choose?
Are
sports and hobbies our number one priority in life or is it Jesus?
Are
we self-centered or are we emphatic towards others?
Do
we love only others that are nice to us?
There
are millions and millions that don’t believe in God?
Did
you know even satan believes in God?
Is
the majority of our spare time spent with the short term temporary satisfaction
of TV, sports, and hobbies or permanent satisfaction with Jesus?
