What is envy?
 Wanting to posses something another person has.

It is a sin to envy or covet, we must be cautious.

We are not to covet or envy others or any of their materialistic things.

Envy can be a strong force behind unhappiness.

Envy can cause a person to inflict or attack another that individual emotionally or physically.


Envy can destroy a person emotionally.

James 4;2
You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.

Exodus 20;17
