Healing

Healing

Prayer for healing is a wonderful gift from God, it is a miracle when someone is healed through prayer.

Only God can heal, we don’t heal anyone.
Praise His Holy Name.

We must always remember the enemy hates when people pray for healing or praying and fasting! He will do anything to sidetrack or halt it!

Prayer for healing is immediate if every thing in the formula is correct in God’s eyes! Look what Jesus and others did in the scriptures did! “Stand up, your faith has healed you, go and sin no more”. It took 5 to 15 seconds! We don’t need to spend 1/2 hour or more convincing and selling that individual on what we can do.
We are not there to increase their faith and eradicate their doubt, it won’t happen anyway. We must move on the the next person!
We cannot make people wait!
Sure I’ve seen where prayer warriors spend 30-45 minutes with someone who is not sure they can be healed, it doesn’t work. They will subconsciously convince themselves they are better because of subliminal suggestion. They will do anything to convince the prayer warrior they are better so they can go.

We must put trust and faith in the Lord and the Holy Spirit when we pray for healing over someone! We only need to spend a few minutes praying over them and let the Holy Spirit take over then. It’s the same when we witness to someone, it only takes a minute or two, then we must trust in the Lord and the Holy Spirit.

In the Bible there were others besides Jesus that prayed and commanded evil spirits out of individuals and they were healed.

For us as prayer healing warriors it’s about righteousness and strong faith in the Lord.
We must be all about love and humility for others without any sign of pride or judging, we have no right. We must be like Jesus.

As prayer warriors the enemy hates what we are doing, he will attack us indirectly or directly any way he can! We can be easily misguided and distracted in the most subtle ways.
If we get sidetracked and turn away from the scriptures and do not listen to God Only he will step aside, He will back off.
We must not read and study other individuals understandings  just like we must not lean on our own understanding.
The Lord does NOT want us reading books, watching YouTube, or commentaries written by so called experts. That’s what the enemy wants us to do!
As Christians and prayer warriors for healing we are to pray daily asking the Lord for protection, and receiving wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit only!

There is only one book, the Word that we need to read.

Many Christians and non- Christians doubt and are not sure God heals; they are not sure He always heals, and they are not sure He will heal them. This is the reason why when we pray over someone that’s ill and nothing happens.
This causes doubt and there is no healing!

If we Christians pray for someone or something and we hate, or dislike anyone, or can’t forgive another our prayers go unanswered, they are a waste of time.

There are several reasons someone is not healed;
unbelief nearby.
doubt nearby.
Unforgiveness.
Dislike or hate.
Faith less than a mustard seed.
Not Gods will.
The individual we are praying over must have strong faith without doubt.
We as a prayer warrior must not have any unforgiveness, pride, dislike, or hate for anyone, if we do our prayers go unanswered.
If we can’t forgive someone the Lord can’t forgive us.

At times God’s wrath has come down on individuals who are habitual sinners and don’t follow his precepts or commandments. He will not protect them and they become sick.

Sometimes the healing can fade away on that individual we prayed over because
his/her faith fades and or they continue to sin again.
Many times Jesus said; “stand up, your faith has healed you, go and sin no more”.
If the person continues to sin the sickness can come back.

All these things can create doubt in the person prayed over and the prayer warrior, faith fades, and doubt creeps in. The evil one is happy.

This is a lack of faith or weak faith, it’s called “doubt” which is one of the enemy’s favorite words!
Most sickness comes from the enemy or unclean spirits, we must rebuke and cast out unclean spirits just like Jesus did.
We as Christians have the same power as Jesus to command a healing in the name of Jesus!

Other prayers can go unanswered.
If we pray and ask for things that are not God’s will it might not happen, if we ask for a new Escalated or to win the lottery it might not be God’s will.
______________

First, we must dispel any doubt that God will heal us. We have the assurance of His word. His promises are right throughout scripture as we have found in this study, but for the promises to work we must meet the conditions (Psalm 66:18). If there is any unconfessed or unrepented sin in our life the Lord will not hear any prayer we pray, whether it be for healing or anything else. We must bring the sin before God and confess it before our fellowship can be restored with Him ( 1 John 1:7-10). Any sin not confessed and repented of puts a wall up between us and God and because of this we can no longer experience God's favor, or His salvation. To remain in fellowship with God and be partakers of all the salvation benefits Christ purchased for us with His blood, we must walk in the light as He is in the light (Mark 11:25-26). Forgiveness is a matter of life or death for believers. If we do not forgive others neither will God forgive us (Matthew 18:21-35). Jesus teaches us here that the forgiveness of God, though freely given to repentant sinners, nevertheless remains conditional according to their willingness to forgive others. The judgment the king pronounced on the unforgiving servant is the equivalent of eternal damnation upon unforgiving believers, because just as the servant could never repay His debt to the king, believers can never repay their debt to God (Proverbs 21:13). Believers must never shut their ears to the cry of the poor, otherwise God will shut His ears to our cries. We must always remember that the whole salvation plan of God revolves around the law of sowing and reaping. We can only reap from the kingdom what we sow into it (Galations 6:6-10). This impresses upon us the importance God places on our financial support of the ministry and Church leaders in particular. If we withhold our finances we will not be able to participate in any of the kingdom benefits, which includes our healing. Throughout scripture we are commanded to contribute to the upkeep of those who God has made responsible for the spiritual well-being of His children.

James 5;16
So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness.

2 Chronicles 7;14
if my people, who belong to me, humble themselves, pray, seek to please me, and repudiate their sinful practises, then I will respond from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7;14
if my people, who belong to me, humble themselves, pray, seek to please me, and repudiate their sinful practises, then I will respond from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Exodus 23;25-26
25 But you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst. 26 There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.

2 Kings 5;10
Elisha sent out a messenger who told him, “Go and wash seven times in the Jordan; your skin will be restored and you will be healed.”

2 Kings 5;13
His servants approached and said to him, “O master, if the prophet had told you to do some difficult task, you would have been willing to do it. It seems you should be happy that he simply said, “Wash and you will be healed.”

2 Kings 5;14
So he went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, as the prophet had instructed. His skin became as smooth as a young child’s and he was healed.

Jame 1;5-8

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Faith and Works

James 2; 14-26

14 What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

18 But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” 19 You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.20 But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? 22 You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected;23 and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” and he was called the friend of God. 24 You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25 In the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? 26 For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

19
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble;

And delivered them from their destruction's.
