easy freedom from self-doubt or uncertainty.

something that inspires or tends to inspire confidence.

Faith brings assurance.
God's forgiveness brings assurance.
Assurance inspires confidence.
God's healing provides assurance.
Eternal life instills assurance.
Hope provides assurance.
God's instructions and protection provides assurance.
Faith is the assurance of things hoped for.




Hosea 6:1-3
Superficial Repentance Breeds False Assurance of God’s Forgiveness

Come on! Let’s return to the Lord.
He himself has torn us to pieces,
but he will heal us!
He has injured us,
but he will bandage our wounds!
He will restore us in a very short time;
he will heal us in a little while,
so that we may live in his presence.
So let us search for him!
Let us seek to know the Lord!
