Crown of Life

Crown of Life

What is the Crown of Life?

We receive the Crown of Life from God when we love Him and accept Him into our hearts and live our lives as a Christian.

There is a life here on earth and also a Crown of Life.

James 1;12

12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

If we love the Lord we will receive the Crown of Life.

Life is short, full of psychological and physical complexities, unique variables, idiosyncrasies, aggression's, laughter, depression, heat, cold, peace, comfort, and tragedies.

The Bible is our great Book of life.

There are many variables embedded within each of us to make up our personalities and decision making.

We have a wonderful new life option as a slave to God, with a Crown of life.

The Bible is our great book of life.

Is it better to go through life with a pessimistic or optimistic outlook?

Does the Lord want us to be positive or negative in daily endurances'?

We are either the slaves of the world or a slave of God. we cannot serve to masters.

Genesis 1;30

"And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so.

What is life?

Are we living life the correct way?

Why are we here on earth?

Why does life but a snap of a finger?

Why is life so short?

What is the importance of life?

How do we chose to spend our life?

Is life all about felling good and having fun?

Do we go through life with an optimistic outlook and liking others?

Do we go thorough life insecure with a pessimistic outlook and degrading and judging others?

Which is better for us and others?

Is our glass totally full, half full, half empty, or totally empty?

Which is the best way to go through life?

Will Rogers once stated;

“I never met a man I didn’t like!”

Seriously, isn’t that a great way to live?

Life is a gift

Life is so short

One day you wake up and you are old, where did the time go?

We only have a short time here on earth.

What are we here for?

What happened?

Is there anything we should accomplish before we pass?

What can we do?

Are we here to raise and produce a family?

Is that what life is about?

Are we put on this earth to have fun?

Are we here to be successful?

Are we here to be nice to others?

Is our total goal in life is to watch as many movies or read as many books as we can?

Is it all about having a good time?

Are we here to have the most toys?

Are we put on earth to have a new Escalade?

Were we born to be successful and posses a bigger house and a newer vehicle than our neighbor?

Are we lucky?

Is it all about luck?

Is life all about having a good time?

Is that why we are hear on earth for a very short time?

Are we insecure in life or are we at peace and secure with Jesus?

There is a great Book, a Book of life, a Book that was written over 4000 years ago by Spirit filled men that were told what to write by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible pertains to that beginning all through the centuries until current times and into the future. This book is the greatest book ever written. The Bible is our instructions manual for life here on earth. The Great Book is about exhortations/encouragement, regulations, love, hope, humility, faith, sanctification, and righteousness.

Doesn't the Lord want us to work for him?

God wants us to spread the Word and witness

Isn't it all about Jesus?

Isn't it about finding Jesus?

The Bible tells us to tell others about Jesus.

The Bible tells us to be a servant to the Lord and others.

We can either serve the worldly life or serve God, we cannot have 2 masters.

We can live a life of serving sin or live a life of serving God with obedience and righteousness.

Genesis 2;7

Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Genesis 9;5

Surely I will require your lifeblood; from every beast I will require it. And from every man, from every man’s brother I will require the life of man.

Are we slaves to sin or are we slaves to obedience and righteousness?

John 1;4

In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.

One of the key verses in the Bible;

Romans 6;16

16 Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?

Romans 6;16

16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Romans 6;16 (KJV)

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6;16 (NET)

16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness?

Romans 6;16 (RSV)

16 Do you not know that if you yield yourselves to any one as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
